Traffic Changes at Fred Caterson

Please note that there will be changes to the Intersection from Caterson Drive off to Field 6, Tennis and Basketball this Friday, 15th April.

Where we currently experience confusion as to the existing “Give Way” to those exiting from F6/Tennis/Basketball, it will change to Caterson Drive having right of way, and those coming from Field 6 etc, will need to give way to those already on Caterson Drive.
This is of particular safety importance to any team who travel to Field 6, but also to those who continue on to Fields 1/2/3/4, Baseball, BMX etc.
Also, new lines will be marked within parking areas of Fred Caterson.
These are initiatives proposed to Council by the “Friends of Fred” action group, which is represented by all clubs who enjoy using our reserve, hopefully more improvements to follow.

Important notice for all users of Fields 4 and 6

Yesterday turf cover was laid over the cricket pitches on Fields 4 and 6 at Fred Caterson Reserve. It is important that this new turf be allowed the chance to establish and grow, particularly over the next two weeks.

All coaches are asked to ensure that their teams are briefed to not run/train/play over the freshly laid turf.

All players are asked to stay off the new turf until further notice.
