CHUFC All Abilities Program

When and Where

Saturdays 9:30 AM – 10:30AM at Fred Caterson Reserve, CHUFC home grounds, on Field 1.

The season will start on Sat 1st April

Castle Hill United Football Club is proud to again offer our All Abilities program during the winter season. The program is aimed at boys and girls 5-16 year olds with a disability and/or intellectual challenges who would love to kick a ball with their peers just like any other kid. Have some fun with your friends while developing gross motor skills, learning about sportsmanship, improving skills, co-ordination, and playing in a team.

How does it work

Our program is highly parent inclusive and provides a safe and fun environment for kids to learn about ball handling and game skills. Coaching is run by a profession coach who has experience in working with special needs children. The routines are highly consistent to provide predictability and limit change anxieties. We start with some ball handling and skills activities, and finish off with some friendly game time.

There are a number of Clubs within the Sydney Hills Region that offer similar programs, so there will be the opportunity to participate in some inter-club activities and a Gala day (both of which are optional).

What to wear

Players wear CHUFC gear, just like any other CHUFC player. The club will provide the jerseys for the season. All players must wear shin pads and soccer boots, just like all the other players in the club.

Uniforms (shorts, socks and optional jumpers) are available through Elite Sports either online (click here to view) or in-store (Unit 21/10 Gladstone Road, Castle Hill NSW 2154).
